PTI is a member of Mineral Foundation of Goa (www.mfgoa.com) which is a Non Profit Organisation promoted by the mining fraternity of Goa for the protection of environment, developing infrastructure and improving people's living standard in the mining areas. The members contribute Rs. 4 per ton of ore produced towards the organisation.

In addition to this, PTI also contributes substantially for infrastructure development at various locations. Regular donations are made to help renovate and rebuild religious institutes, schools etc in the villages around the mine areas. Plans to set up a trust exclusively to handle community building initiatives are under way.
